Russian Tea Scones Recipe

2 c. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 stick butter
1 c. black raisins
1 egg
1/2 c. cream
1/2 c. milk
Methods:
Stir in by hand (if you do this in the processor, the scones will be too finely grained, like cake) :
Spoon batter into greased muffin tins.Bake at 325 degrees about 30 minutes or until crusty brown. Serve cold with butter and jam.Or use whipped cream instead of butter.
